An ordinance amending and reenacting the District Map incorporated in Section 4 of Article III of Appendix II of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, 1959, by the rezoning of two parcels of land fronting on Emmet Street. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the District Map incorporated in Section 4 of Article III of Appendix II of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, 1959, be amended by the rezoning of two parcels of land fronting on Emmet Street and reenacted as follows: Section 4. District Map. Changing from B-Office Shop District to B-1 Business District two parcels of land fronting on Emmet Street, more particularly described as follows: First, all of that parcel of land fronting on the western side of Emmet Street running from the lands of the University of Virginia to a point approximately 1100 feet south of the intersection of Emmet Street and Barracks Road, with a depth of approximately 260 feet. Second, all of that parcel of land fronting approximately 400 feet on the eastern side of Emmet Street between Lambeth Field and the University Gardens, known as Lots 12, 13 and 14 of the Massie Subdivision, and designated as Parcels #74 and #75 on City Tax Sheet #6. Adopted by the Council December 2, 1963. Ayes: Mr. Haggerty, Mr. Lee, Mr. Mount, Mr. Ponton and Mr. Scribner. Noes: none. An ordinance amending and reenacting the District Map incorporated in Section 4 of Article III of Appendix II of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, 1959, by the rezoning of a parcel of land fronting approximately 330 feet on the southern side of Cherry Avenue. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the District Map incorporated in Section 4 of Article III of Appendix II of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, 1959, be amended by the rezoning of a parcel of land fronting approximately 330 feet on the southern side of Cherry Avenue and reenacted as follows: Section 4. District Map. Changing from R-2 Residential District to B-2 Business District all of that parcel of land fronting approximately 330 feet on the southern side of Cherry Avenue near its intersection with 9th Street, S.W., designated as Parcel #151 on City Tax Sheet #30. Adopted by the Council December 2, 1963. Ayes: Mr. Haggerty, Mr. Lee, Mr. Mount, Mr. Ponton and Mr. Scribner. Noes: none. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the District Map incorporated in Section 4 of Article III of Appendix II of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, 1959, be amended by the rezoning of a tract of land fronting 260 feet on the south side of Linden Street and reenacted as follows: Section 4. District Map. Changing from R-2 Residential District to B-3 Business District a tract of land containing approximately 12 acres and fronting 260 feet on the south side of Linden Street adjacent to the Knoll.
