CREATING A SINKING FUND THEREFOR, <br />FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT AND CITY SCHOOLS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES'T, <br />Ordinance- was offered by Mr. Watson, seconded by Mr. Gleason, and carried over for considere.- <br />Tax Levy <br />tion. <br />A public hearing was held on this date on the petition of Forrest L. Ward <br />to change the zoning limits on Route 250. Several residents of that vicinity <br />Public were present and discussed the proposed change. The Board of Zoning Appeals <br />Hearing - <br />Route 250 reported that in their opinion the property described in the petition should be <br />changed from A-1 Residence to B Business District. <br />An ordinance entitled TIAN ORDINANCE AMEADING SECTION 2 OF CHAPTER 33 OF THE <br />CHARLOTTELVILLE CITY CODE OF 1945 ENTITLED 'ZONING' 'DISTRICTS'; was offered by <br />Ordinance- Mr. Nash, seconded by her. Gleason, and carried over to the next meeting for <br />Zoning <br />Change Rt. consideration. <br />250 <br />An ordinance entitled TTAN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SALE, HANDLING, AND <br />PRODUCTION OF MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS", was offered by Mr. Nash, seconded by Mr. <br />Ordinance- Watson, read and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. <br />Milk <br />On motion by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Mr. Nash, the following resolution <br />was unanimously adopted: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that <br />Firemen City $175.00, or as much thereof as may be necessary, be and the sane is <br />Auto License <br />hereby appropriated to purchase city license tags for volunteer firemen. <br />The resolution appropriating X9,777.20 for lights for the Lane High <br />Lights - School athletic field, which was offered at the last regular ineeting,, was <br />Athletic <br />Field adopted by the following recorded vote: Ayes: Mr. Adams, Mr. Gleason, Mr. Nash, <br />and l,Ir. �4atson.
