119 <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox said he would like the Office of Economic Development to contact the <br />owners of Barracks Road Shopping Center to see if they are willing to be partners in such <br />a venture. <br /> <br /> Mr. Toscano said he is on the Courts Facility Study Committee and they met last <br />week and had a good meeting. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by Mr. Lynch, Council voted to meet in <br />closed session (Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Mr. Lynch, Ms. Richards, Mr. Toscano. <br />Noes: None.) for the purpose of considering the acquisition of real property for public <br />purpose, or the disposition of publicly held property, when discussion in an open meeting <br />would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the City, as <br />authorized by Section 2.1-344(A)(3) of the Virginia Code, and more specifically <br />described as property near Douglas Avenue. <br /> <br /> Council reconvened in open session and, on motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by <br />Ms. Richards, approved the following certification of closed meeting by the following <br />vote.
