WORKSESSION DATE <br />SET <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />SPECIAL SESSION <br /> <br />WORKSBSSION <br />UTILITY RATES <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Charlottesville, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. It is hereby declared that it is in the best interests of the <br /> public to amend the off-street parking and loading provision of the <br /> Redevelopment Plan in order to facilitate development of the project. <br /> <br /> 2. The Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (the <br /> "Authority") has prepared and approved at its meeting of April 26, <br /> 1982 such amendments to the Redevelopment Plan. <br /> <br /> 3. The Redevelopment Plan for Vinegar Hill Redevelopment Project <br />No. Va. R-12, as amended by Amendment No. 6, dated February, 1982 is <br />hereby in all respects approved. <br /> <br /> Council agreed to have a worksession on the proposed utility rates <br /> <br /> on Tuesday, May 11, at 8:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Mrs. Gleason, Council unanimously <br />agreed to meet in executive session to discuss matters exempted by <br />Section 2.1-344(a)(1) Personnel and (2) Property of the Virginia Freedom <br />of Information Act. <br /> <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Cle .~re~ident <br /> <br /> _TAK2 NOTICE <br />A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL WILL BE HELD TUESDAY EVENING THE llh <br />INST. Buck (signed) <br />Clerk President <br /> <br /> COUNCIL CHAMBER - Tuesday, May 11, 1982 <br /> <br /> Pursuant to the foregoing notice Council met in special session on <br /> <br />this date with the following members presenT: Mr. Buck, Mr. Conover, <br /> <br />Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Hall. Absent: Mr. Albro. <br /> <br /> Council met with the Planning Commission for a joint public hearing <br />on the following: 1) a petition to rezone from R-2 to B-2 the property <br />at 512 Rives Street; 2) proposed reprogramming of the Starr Hill funds; <br />and 3) proposed reprogramming of CDBG funds. <br /> <br /> Council adjourned and reconvened in the Basement Conference Room <br />where Mayor Buck called the meeting to order at 8:45 p.m. <br /> <br /> Robert Sheets, Director of Finance, John Berberich, Director of <br />Public Works, and Tom Haden, Assistant Director of Finance, made a pre- <br />sentation of the proposed utility rates for gas, water, and sewer. Council <br />agreed to set a public hearing on these rates for June 7, 1982 at 7:30 p.m. <br />in City Council Chamber. <br /> <br />On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Hall, Council agreed to <br />meet in executive session to discuss matters exempted by Section 2.1-344 <br /> <br />(a) (2) (Property) of the Virginia <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk7 <br /> <br /> <br />
