Buck (signed) <br />Mayor <br /> <br />BUCK MOUNTAIN <br />RESERVOIR PROJECT <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: <br />$7,720 GRANT FOR <br />JOGGING COURSE <br />(2nd reading) <br /> <br /> COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING ~ September 16, 1982 <br /> <br /> Council met in special session this date with the following members <br />present: Mr. Buck, Mr. Conover, Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Gunter, Dr. Hall. <br />Absent: None. <br /> <br /> A discussion was held with the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors <br />on the Buck Mountain Reservoir Project. <br /> <br /> The appropriation of the $7,720 grant for the jogging course which <br />was offered at the meeting of September 7, 1982 was approved by the <br />following vote. Ayes: Mr. Buck, Mr. Conover, Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Gunter, <br />Dr. Hall. Noes: None. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Mr. Conover, Countil unanimously <br />voted to go into executive session to discuss matters of persnnnel, <br />property, and legal matters as exempted by Section 2.1-344(a)(1), (2), and <br />(6) of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />TAKE NOTICE <br /> <br />A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL WILL BE HELD THURSDAY EVENING THE 23rd <br />AT 7:30 p.m. O'CLOCK. <br /> <br />COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING 2nd Floer, Rooms 5 & 6 <br /> <br />Meeting with Albemarle County Board. of Supervisors to discuss Buck Mountain <br />Project <br /> <br />Appropriation $16,800 for City/County study of law enforcement. <br /> <br />BY ORDER OF <br /> <br />Alma Evans Brown (signed) <br /> <br />Clerk Mayor <br /> <br />Francis L. Buck (signed) <br /> <br />COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING Thursday, September 23, 1982 <br /> <br />Pursuant to the foregoing call, Council met in special session with <br /> <br />the following members present: Mr. Buck, Mr. Conover, Mrs. Gleason, <br /> <br />Dr. Gunter. Absent: Dr. Hall. <br /> <br />BUCK MOUNTAIN <br />RESERVOIR PROJECT <br /> <br /> City Council and the County Board of Supervisors discussed the Buck <br />Mountain Project. <br /> <br />On motion by Mr. Conover, seconded by Mrs. 'Gleason, the following <br /> <br />appropriation was offered and carried over to the next meeting for con- <br /> <br />sideration: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that the sum of $16,800 is hereby appropriated from the <br />unappropriated balance of the General Fund to expenditure account <br />01-13030 as the City share of the cost of a study of the potential <br />consolidation of law enforcement agencies in Charlottesville and <br />Albemarle County. This appropriation is contingent upon the appro- <br />priation of a like amount by the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle <br /> <br />County. <br /> <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />TAKE NOTICE <br /> <br />A SPECIAL MEETING WILL BE HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON THE 28th OF SEPTEMBER <br />AT 12:15 P.M.
