AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 319 OF THE CITY CODE OF 1932 BE IT ORDAINED by the Coucil of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that Sec- tion 319 of the City Code of 1932 be, and the same is, hereby amended and re-enacted to read as follows: Sec. 319. Filling Station - Permit to Operate. No person, firm or corporation shall operate a gasoline or oil filling station for publlic service without a speial permit from the Council. No permit shall be granted until the applicant has posted a sign upon the premises in question, for thrity days proceeding the is- suance of a premit, stating that he or it will apply for the same. Any voilation of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than $10.00 nor more that $25.00, and every day such violation continues shall constitute a seperate offense. All ordiances or part of ordiances in confllict herewith are hereby repealed. Adopted by Council, December 4, 1933. Ayes: Mr. Fife, Dr. Haden, Messrs, Huff, Jessup and Twyman. Noes: None. Clerk Signature President Signature AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REINACTING SECTION 493 (7) OF THE CITY CODE, HEADED "FEES FOR PERMITS". BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section 493 (7) of the City Code, under the general subject of Electrical Code and headed "Fees for Permits" be amended and reinacted so as to read as follows: SEC. 493 (7) (B). FEES FOR PERMITS. The following fees shall be paid to the City for each permit issued by the City Electrician for the installation or alteration of wiring or the installation of any type of electrical appliance or fixture in any building or electrically connected thereto, within the City, and the receipt of these fees shall be endorsed on the application by the City Electrician.
