AN ORDINANCE TO AMM AND +E -ENACT SECTION 32 OF TPF SE'IFRAGE LAWS: <br />13 <br />BF IT' ORDAINED ,BY THE C01 .TON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE THAT SECTION 32 OF <br />It <br />TNF SLTIERAGE LAWS BE AIMMED AND RE-ENACTED TO READ AS FOLLOWS; <br />See.32,§1. It is ordered that there shall be a committed of this Council known as <br />the Sewer Connection Board to consist of the Chairman of the Health Committee, the <br />Chairman of the Sewer Committee and the "ealth Officer, who shall have the power,after <br />making the proper examination, to order the owner or owners of any property within the <br />City,to connect closet,urinals,bath .and kitchen to said property with the public <br />sewer; and from this decision there shall be no appeal. <br />Any person failing to comply with the order of the Board to connect his property <br />with the sewer shall be fined one dollar per day for every day that he shall fail to <br />make said connection after the time specified in the order of the Board,unless he can <br />give a satisfactory reason for the delay. <br />§2. Presented and approved Feb.10,1906o <br />7. <br />ce res�den.`a��_ ��.��_ .ayor. <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TIIr RMTTING OF PLU7TER' S LICENSES: <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TILT CO?"?.IO?T COUNCIL OF TTTE CITY OF CITARLO'"TESVILLE : <br />That all applicants for Plumber's License shall be made to the superintendent of <br />Sewers & dater and must be approved by at least two journeymen !lumbers of this City, <br />s stating that the applicant is a fit and proper person and has had not less than three <br />\ years experience as a practical workman at the trade. <br />The examination cif applicants for plumber's license shall be conducted by the <br />Superintendent of W- .ter & Sewers,who shall have the assistance of a journeyman plumber <br />of this City in conducting. ssaid examinat ion, if he so desires. <br />For services thus rendered the plumber is to receive a fee of $2.50. <br />Each person to whom a license is issued shall pay the sum of $2.50 for same. <br />The foregoing ordinance was presented to the Mayor on Feb.10,1906 and was returned to <br />me on February 16th, without his signature of approval or veto,a.nd therefore becomes <br />operative under the Statute. <br />Adopted February 8t'_1 19060 <br />de-Vi-Pr6s1den�. <br />
