A RESOLUTION.
<br />RESOLVED, BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN

<br />CONCURRIEG, That the Street and Light Committee and Business manager be and are hereby
<br />
<br />empowered to locate in the annexed territory notmore than twenty lights, in such
<br />
<br />places as they deem most important, said lights to be paid for after December 1,1917,
<br />
<br />as agreed to by the Charlottesville & Albemarle Railway Company. This account when
<br />
<br />paid shall be charged to the. "Annexed Territory Fund."
<br />

<br />Fixing the price at which sidewalk are to be laid.
<br />
<br />RESOLVED, BY THE COMMON COUNCIL, THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN CONCURRING, That in
<br />
<br />interpreting the price at which sidewalks shall be laid for abutting property owners
<br />
<br />as provided in Sec. 154 of the City Code, the same shall be construed to mean a net
<br />
<br />charge of 50 cents per sq. yd. for cement walk to the property owner where the
<br />
<br />conditions are normal, and where the conditions are not normal the City Manager
<br />
<br />fix the price.
<br />
