Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />~e sum of $24~705 or as much thereof as may be <br />~by appropriated from the unappropriated balance <br />~ojects Fund to expenditure account 05-11970 <br />~sts incurred in repairing the roof of the <br />~lbemarle Regional Jail, commonly referred to as <br />.ty Complex." <br /> <br />asked Council'a approval of the expenditure of <br />~loyee ethics project, $9,000 of which comes <br /> <br />~t and $3,000 of which is the City's matching share <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Stripling, Assistance City Manager, <br />nagement wished to develop written standards of <br /> <br />or City employees but felt it must be done with <br /> <br />ipation t'o be effective. He recommended the <br /> <br />side consultants to conduct the discussion <br /> <br />oyees, as it is the feeling of management that <br />t speak freely of their concerns to people in <br />Roger Wiley, City Attorney, pointed out that <br />been used effectively in the development of the <br /> <br />nce pay system. Mr. Albro suggested that City <br />standards developed by other governments and <br />mnd ask employees for comments. Mr. Buck <br /> <br />expenditure seemed excessive and that the <br /> <br />side consultants might put more distance <br /> <br />t and City workers. On motion by Mr. Albro, <br />~11, Council voted unanimously to deny the use <br /> <br /> such a purpose. <br /> <br />Mr. Albro, seconded by Ms. Gleason, the_~,~ ....... <br /> <br />[ation was offered and carried over to the <br /> <br />~onsideration: <br /> <br />~D by tha Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />~ sum of $3,745 is hereby appropriated to <br />~-t 11-12210 in the Grants Fund for salary and <br />~enses incurred by the Department of Community <br />~viding planning services to Family SerVice, <br />~n with the establishment of a Youth Service <br />~nditure shall be offset by the receipt of a <br />~enue in the grants fund from Family Services, Inc. <br /> <br /> <br />
