Ordinance re: <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Zoning <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Gilliam <br /> <br />the Council approved the amendments to pages 22, 28, 37, <br />53, 54, 81, 96, 107, and 67 thru 72a of such proposed <br />ordinance as transmitted by memorandum from the City <br />Attorney dated Dec. ember 10, 1975, which memorandum and <br />revised pages are on file with minutes of this meeting, <br />by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Fife, Mr. <br />Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None. <br />Absent: Mr. Barbour. <br /> On mOtion by Mr*. Gilliam, seconded by Mr. Fife such <br /> proposed ordinance was further amended by reincluding there- <br /> in an article from the existing zoning ordinance entitled <br /> "BUILDING., SET BACK LINE ON CERTAIN STREETS" the proposed <br /> text of which is included on file with the minutes of this <br /> meeting, by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Fife, <br /> Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None. <br /> Absent: Mr. Barbour. <br /> On motion by Mrs.Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Gilliam such <br /> proposed ordinance was further amended by the inc%~sion of <br /> a Section 198.1 inadvertently deleted, entitled "REQUIRED <br /> SIDEWALKS, CURBS AND GUTTERS," by the following recorded vote. <br /> Ayes: Mr,.Fife, Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. <br /> Noes: None. Absent: Mr. Barbour. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Gilliam the <br /> <br /> .zoning map .proposed by the Planning Commission was amended <br /> by expanding the~Historic Preservation District northward <br /> along the western side of Park Street to include all <br /> parcels fronting on Park Street between the northern boundry <br /> of ex£sting historic district, and the Route 250 By-Pass, <br /> provided that such Historic Preservation District should only <br /> extend 200 feet west of Park Street on parcel 52-53; by <br /> the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, <br /> Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None. Absent: <br /> Mr. Barb our. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Fife property <br /> at the intersection of Hydraulic Road and Brandywine Drive, <br /> shown on the Zoning Map proposed by the Planning Commission <br /> to be zoned R-2 Residential District, was changed to R-1 <br /> Residential District, by the following recorded vote. Ayes: <br /> Mr. Fife, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr.Van Yahres. Noes: None. <br /> Abstained: Mr. Gilliam. Absent: Mr. Barbour. Mr. Gilliam <br /> took no part in the discussion of the zoning classification <br /> of this property due to ptotential conflict of interest. <br /> On motion by Mr. Gilliam, seconded by Mrs. Rinehart the <br /> Zoning Map proposed by the Planning Commission was amended <br /> to conform the zoning district classification in the vicinity <br /> of Earhart ~Street to coincide with a map prepared by the <br /> Department of Community Development, on file with the minutes <br /> of this meeting, by the following recorded vote.
