He said notices <br />of the public hearing were sent to neighborhood property owners. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ken Schwartz of the Renaissance Planning Group, said that a context <br />sensitive approach was taken with the design with the goal to improve the quality of life <br />and incorporate multi-modal opportunities, with limited widening. Mr. Schwartz said <br />that the proposed concept eliminates driveways on Fontaine in lieu of access from the <br />alleys, and includes a sidewalk and tree line on Fontaine. The idea was to balance traffic <br />flow and the mixed use on the street, and to have turn lanes only where necessary. He <br />said that the process involved two community workshops. <br /> <br />The public hearing was opened. <br /> <br /> <br />
