Minutes of May 18, 20 and June 18, 2009 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />b. : $7,600 – Reimbursement for Job Fair Expenses <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City of Charlottesville’s Office of Economic Development has <br />received $7,600.00 as registration fees from participants in the Community Job Fair; <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that <br />$7,600.00 in registration fees is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenues-$7,600.00 <br />Fund: 105 I/O: 2000064 G/L Account: 434410 <br /> <br />Expenditures-$7,600.00 <br />Fund: 105 I/O: 2000064 G/L Account: 530210 <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br />that future fees and unspent funds to <br />the Job Fair will be hereby considered as a continuing appropriation and immediately <br />available for the Office of Economic Development to spend appropriately. <br /> <br />nd <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : $144,637 – CDBG – Recovery Funds (2 reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Charlottesville is eligible to receive $144,637 in <br />Community Development Block Grant-Recovery (CDBG-R) funding from the United <br />States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the American <br />Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA or “the Recovery Act”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , the funds will be passed through to Habitat for Humanity to build two <br />new LEED certified units. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $144,637 is hereby appropriated in the <br />following manner and passed through to Habitat for Humanity: <br /> <br />Revenues <br />$144,637 Fund: 218 Internal Order: P-00001-04-69 G/L Account: 431120 Federal <br />ARRA <br /> <br />Expenditures <br />$144,637 Fund: 218 Internal Order: P-00001-04-69 G/L Account: 530670 Other <br />Contractual <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br />, that this appropriation is conditioned upon the <br />approval and receipt of $144,637 from the United States Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />d. : $23,155 – Pupil Transportation Special Events Revenue <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Charlottesville, through Pupil Transportation, will receive <br /> <br />
