4 RESOLUTION f.: Authorize Transit Application for State Funds BE IT RESOLVED by the Charlottesville City Council that the Transit Manageris PUBLIC authorized, for and on behalf of the City of Charlottesville, hereafter referred to as the BODY , to execute and file an application to the Department of Rail and Public Transportation, DEPARTMENT Commonwealth of Virginia, hereafter referred to as the, for a grant of financial PUBLIC BODY assistance in the amount of $ 7,718,800 to defray the costs borne by the for DEPARTMENT public transportation purposes and to accept from the grants in such amounts DEPARTMENT as may be awarded, and to authorize the Transit Manager to furnish to the such documents and other information as may be required for processing the grant request. RESOLUTION g.: Authorize Azalea Park Master Planning Process BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia thatthis Council hereby authorizes the City Manager and the Parks and Recreation Department to begin the Park Master Planning Process for Azalea Park, pursuant to the Park Master Planning Process adopted by City Council on March 16, 2009. RESOLUTION h.: Reprogramming of CDBG and HOME Funds WHEREAS , the City of Charlottesville previously approved the FY 09-10 CDBG and HOME budget for submission to HUD for review and final approval , and WHEREAS , Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries was to be funded $25,000 in CDBG funds and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville was to be funded $80,000 HOME funds, and WHEREAS , HUD determined that the $25,000 CDBG allocation for Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries is not an eligible expense under federal law; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries be funded $25,000 in HOME funds and Habitat for Humanity be funded $25,000 in CDBG funds and $55,000 in HOME funds.
