APPROPRIATION: $49,961 - JAUNT Shortfall (FY 95) (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the <br />sum of $49,961.00 is hereby appropriated from the balance of the General Fund to JAUNT <br />(05-301-053011) to cover a shortfall in the City's contribution to JAUNTs operating funds <br />due to increased ridership by City residents during fiscal year 1995. <br /> <br />c. APPROPRL~TION: $8,750 - Health Department Renovation (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the <br />sum of $8,750.00 is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the General <br />Fund to expenditure account 26-181-061015 in the Capital Fund as the City's share of <br />additional funds necessary to complete the renovations to the Health Department building on <br />Rose Hill Drive. <br /> <br />d. APPROPRIATION: $49,862.81 - Fire Programs (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the <br />sum of $49,862.81 received by the City Treasurer's Office from the Commonwealth of <br />Virginia for the "Fire Programs Fund," is hereby appropriated to the Charlottesville Fire <br />Department (11-260-042020-43108). <br /> <br />e. APPROPRLS~TION: $50,000 - Metropolitan Planning Organization Grant <br /> (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the <br />sum of $50,000 is hereby appropriated to expenditure account 11-042-053050 in the Grants <br />Fund for planning activities, including administration, transportation planning and data <br />development, updating the Charlottesville-Albemarle Transportation Stud5, (CATS) and <br />intermodal/congestion management planning as outlined in the Unified Transportation <br />Planning Work Program. Such activities shall be conducted by the City under a contract <br />pursuant to a Section 112 planning and programming grant received by the Thomas Jefferson <br />Planning District Commission from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the <br />Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). <br /> <br /> This appropriation is conditioned upon receipt by the City of $40,000 from the Federal <br />Highway Administration, and $5,000 from the Virginia Department of Transportation, for a <br />total of $45,000 from the pass-through agency, Thomas Jefferson Planning District <br />Commission. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's ten percent (10%) local match of <br />$5,000 is hereby appropriated to account code 05-302-131032 from the unappropriated <br />balance of the General Fund for transfer to the Grants Fund. <br /> <br /> <br />
