62 <br /> <br />nutrition for children and a belief that school vacation <br />should not end the availability of nutritious meals for many <br />children~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Charlottesville shares the same <br />concerns as USDA; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that a Summer Food Service Program <br />be established as part of the City of Charlottesville's <br />Summer Recreation Programs and $54,112.80 is hereby <br />appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the General <br />Fund to account code 11-042-062028 in the Grants Fund for the <br />purpose of carrying out this program. Such appropriation <br />shall be conditioned upon substantial reimbursement to the <br />General Fund by USDA. <br /> <br />d. APPROPRIATION: $50,000 - McIntire Building <br /> Renovation (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $50,000.00 is <br />hereby appropriated from account code 26-301-074101 in the <br />Capital Fund to the Albemarle County Historical Society as a <br />contribution toward the cost of renoVation of the McIntire <br />Library located at 200 Second Street, N.E., which <br />contribution is described in the lease agreement between the <br />City and the Albemarle County Historical Society dated <br />January 1, 1993. <br /> <br />eJ <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: <br />(2nd reading) <br /> <br />$25,000 - Carver Renovation <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $25,000.00, <br />received as an anonymous donation for the renovation of the <br />kitchen at Carver Recreation Center, is hereby appropriated <br />to expenditure account 07-171-072745 for such purpose. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: $30,000 - Reprogramming CDBG Funds <br />for Downpayment and Closing Cost Assistance <br />(2nd reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has previously approved the <br />appropriation of certain sums of federal grant receipts to <br />specified accounts in the Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) Fund~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it now appears that portions of the amounts <br />originally appropriated to some of these accounts are not <br />needed for the purpose for which they were designated, and <br />that these unneeded funds should be reappropriated for <br />certain other purposes in connection with this grant; now <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that the appropriations made to the <br />following expenditure accounts in the CDBG Fund are hereby <br />reduced or increased by the respective amounts shown, and the <br />balance accumulated in that Fund as a result of these <br />adjustment is hereby reappropriated to the respective <br />accounts shown as follows: <br /> <br />5/03/93 <br />Program Account <br />Year Code <br /> <br />Purpose <br /> <br />Proposed Revised <br />Revision Approp. <br /> <br />92-93 <br /> <br />18-042-093547 <br />18-042-092501 <br /> <br />Do~payment/Closing +$30,000 $80,000 <br /> COst'Assistance <br />PhYsical -$30,000 $169,722 <br /> COntingency Fund <br /> <br />g.
