<br /> The $41,984.47 appropriation of the State Entitlement for
<br />the Fire Program which was offered at the August 7th meeting

<br />Edwards, Mr. Towe, Mr. Vandever, Ms. Waters. Noes: None.

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
<br />charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $41,984.47 received
<br />in the current fiscal year from the Commonwealth of Virginia
<br />for local operation of fire protection programs is hereby
<br />appropriated to expenditure account 11-260-042020 in the
<br />Grants Fund for the purchase of firefighting equipment and
<br />related training expenses.

<br />APPROPRIATION: ~28,975 - VICTIM WITNESS COORDINATOR (2ND reading)

<br /> The ~28,975 appropriation for the Victim Witness
<br />Coordinator which was offered at the August 7th meeting was

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
<br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $16,360.00, to be
<br />received as a grant from the Virginia Department of Criminal
<br />Justice Services, and the sum of ~12,615.00, which shall be
<br />transferred from General Fund account 05-230-032040, for a
<br />total of $28,975.00, is hereby appropriated to expenditure
<br />account 11-230-032042 in the Grants Fund for the purpose of
<br />funding a victim/witness assistance program in the Office of
<br />the Commonwealth's Attorney during the fiscal year 1989-90.
<br />This appropriation is conditioned upon receipt of $16,360.00
<br />(Grant Number 89-A6815) from the Virginia Department of
<br />Criminal Justice Services.
