Ayes: Ms. Slaughter, Mr. Toscano, Mr. <br />Vandever, Ms. Waters. Noes: None. Absent: Rev. Edwards. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $1,000.00, is <br />received as an anonymous donation to the Community Attention <br />program for the purchase of Christmas gifts for the residents <br />of the Girls Attention Home and Boys Attention Home, is <br />hereby appropriated to.expenditure account <br />13-162-062115-54128 for such purpose. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT REPROGRAMMING <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix explained that the appropriation separated <br />previously approved funds into sub-accounts. <br /> <br /> Questions were raised about funds listed for Dice Street <br />and Housing Rehabilitation and Mr. Huja replied that the <br />amounts would be checked for accuracy prior to the second <br />reading. <br /> <br /> The appropriation reprogramming Community Development <br />Block Grant funds was offered by Ms. Waters, seconded by Ms. <br />Slaughter and carried over to the next meeting for <br />consideration. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: AMENDING MAILING REQUIREMENT FOR PERMIT PARKING <br /> <br /> Mr. Gouldman stated that the Traffic Engineer had <br /> reCommended that the permit parking requirements be <br /> be revised to allow sending notices by first class mail <br /> rather than certified mail in order to save money and to be <br /> more expedient. <br /> <br />On motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by Ms. Waters, the <br /> <br /> <br />
