0 <br />LJ <br />C� <br />2. <br />office so that it is postmarked within forty-eight hours after receipt <br />of such notice, or upon voluntarily placing the notice and three four <br />dollars in a "courtesy box" within forty-eight hours. Such person <br />shall not be thereafter be required to appear before the general <br />district court for trial upon the charge set forth in such notice. <br />Such offenses shall include: <br />(1) Parking a vehicle in a loading zone, bus stop, taxi -stand <br />or other such space designated as a no parking area pursuant to <br />section 16-26. <br />(2) Parking a vehicle backed into a parking meter space in <br />violation of section 16-48. <br />(3) Parking a vehicle with left side to curb in violation of <br />section 16-30. <br />(c) Every person receiving written notice from a police officer; <br />that he or she has committed any of the offenses hereinafter listed; <br />may waive his or her right to appear and be tried for the offense set <br />forth in the notice. Such waiver shall be effective upon voluntary <br />payment of five six dolars to the parking enforcement bureau in the <br />city treasurer's office within forty-eight hours after receipt of such <br />notice or upon voluntarily placing five six dollars in the reply mail <br />envelope on which such notice of violation is printed and mailing it <br />to the parking enforcement bureau in the city treasurer's office so <br />that it is postmarked within forty-eight hours after receipt of such <br />notice, or upon voluntarily placing the notice and five six dollars in <br />a "courtesy box" within forty-eight hours. Such person shall not <br />thereafter be required to appear before the general district court for <br />trial upon the charge set forth in such notice. Such offenses shall <br />include: <br />(1) Parking a vehicle in violation of rules or regulations <br />promulgated by the city manager and traffic engineer pursuant to <br />section 16-26. <br />(2) Parking a vehicle in a yellow -lined area in violation of <br />section 16-27. <br />(3) Parking a vehicle in violation of signs erected pursuant to <br />section 16-33. <br />(4) Parking a vehicle during those hours prohibited by signs <br />erected pursuant to section 16-34. <br />(5) Parking a vehicle between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. <br />on those streets designated by section 16-38 in violation of section <br />section 16-38. <br />
