• <br />Section 24-20.3. <br />Permit conditions. <br />Permits may contain conditions, as appropriate <br />(a) The maximum permissible concentration of wastewater <br />constituents; <br />(b) Limits on rate and time of disc <br />for flow regulations and equalization; <br />or reauirements <br />the <br />(c) Requirements for inspection, flow metering and sampling; <br />(d) Pretreatment of industrial wastewater before discharge; <br />(e) Specifications for monitoring programs which may include <br />sampling locations, frequency and method of sampling, flow meterin <br />number, types and standards for tests, and reporting schedule; <br />(f) Prohibition of discharge of certain wastewater constituents; <br />Requirements for submission of periodic discharge reports <br />to include information concerning volume, rate of flow, constituent <br />concentrations peak flow rates, hours of operation, number of <br />• employees and other relevant information; <br />E <br />(h) Requirements for the protection of the sewerage system; and <br />(i) other conditions necessary to insure compliance with all <br />applicable local, state and federal regulations, including 40 C.F. <br />403.6, National Categorical Pretreatment Standards. <br />Section 24-20.4. <br />Duration of permits. <br />Permits shall be issued for a period of time not to exceed <br />three (3) years. <br />Section 24-20.5. Modification of permits. <br />(a) The terms and conditions of any permit may be subject <br />to modification by joint action of the executive director of the <br />Rivanna water & Sewer Authority and the director of public works <br />during the term of the permit to accommodate changed conditions <br />or as local, state or federal laws, rules or regulations are <br />modified or as new National Categorical Pretreatment Standards <br />are promulgated. <br />
