Section 25-52. Permit required. <br />• It shall be unlawful to sell, display or offer for <br />sale, any food, beverage or merchandise on any public street <br />or sidewalk without first obtaining a street vendor permit <br />from the city zoning administrator. <br />Section 25-53. Permit not a business license. <br />The vendor permit required by section 25-52 of this <br />article is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any business <br />license which may be required under chapter 15 of this Code <br />and any approval which may be required by the health department <br />or any other agency with regulatory authority over the <br />proposed vending operation. Street vendor permits will not <br />be issued under this article until any and all business <br />licenses and other approvals required under this Code and <br />any other applicable law and regulation have been issued. <br />Section 25-54. Permit categories, fees and terms. <br />(a) The permit fee for a licensed business to vend <br />from a stand adjacent to the permanent location of that <br />• business, as provided in section 25-46(b), shall be fifty <br />dollars. Such permits shall not have a fixed expiration date; <br />however, any change in the location, size or appearance of the <br />stand on which the merchant proposes to vend shall require an <br />application and fee for a new permit. <br />(b) The fee for an annual permit for a vendor to sell <br />from a sidewalk location pursuant to section 25-46(c) shall <br />be two hundred dollars. <br />(c) The fee for an annual permit for a vendor to sell <br />from any of the designated locations on the downtown mall <br />shall be two hundred dollars. <br />(d) The fee for daily permits for vendors to sell from <br />locations other than the downtown mall, or to sell on the <br />downtown mall on days when City Council has suspended the <br />normal restrictions, as provided by section 25-47(e), shall <br />be five dollars. <br />-6- <br />• <br />
