0 <br />• <br />Section 31-147.2. Administrative Approval Procedures. <br />Whenever an administrative approval authorized in this <br />chapter is requested from the Director of Planning as permitted <br />elsewhere in this chapter, the following procedures shall be <br />followed• <br />(a) A notice provided by the city is to be posted by the <br />applicant specifying that administrative approval is being <br />considered for a certificate of appropriateness for this property; <br />(b) Once the approval has been granted, the owners or <br />occupants of the property in question or adjacent properties shall <br />have five (5) working days to appeal the decision of the Director <br />of Plannina to the appropriate Board of Architectural Review. <br />(c) Any appeals to the decision of the Board may be made by <br />the owners or occupants of the property in question or of adjacent <br />properties or by the Director of Planning. Such appeals shall be <br />made to the City Council no later than 30 days after the decision <br />of the Board. <br />Section 31-159. Aisles; entrance, exit driveways and <br />loading space. <br />(b) . . . <br />(c) . . . <br />(d) The dimensions for each individual parking space shall <br />conform to the following requirements: <br />Type of Space Minimum Width Minimum Length <br />(1) Parallel 9 feet 20 feet <br />(2) Handicapped 13 12 feet 19 feet <br />(3) Compact Cars 8 feet 16 feet <br />(4) All others 9 feet 19 feet <br />The planning commission or director of planning may permit a <br />reduction of up to three feet in the paved length of spaces, <br />where such spaces are adjacent to a planting island or other <br />physical separation (but not a sidewalk) which permits the <br />overhanging of vehicles parked in such spaces. <br />In parking lots with spaces for ten or more vehicles, the <br />director of planning or the planning commission may allow not <br />more than twenty percent of the spaces to be compact car spaces, <br />provided they are clearly marked as such and are appropriately <br />• located for the uses served by the lot. <br />r <br />R <br />
