Before service is turned on under <br />this section, the customer shall agree in writing to abide by the <br />terms and conditions of this section. <br />Section 12-6.1. Interruptible Transportation Service. <br />(a) Generally. The customer may have the opportunity from <br />time to time to purchase gas directly from producers or some seller <br />other than the City and have such gas pareknses transported to the <br />City. }rf- suc4r-evert--BibY-�e�r-exeen�e-�ra�-service <br />ngreemerts-�ritk�����r=-fror��errup�ifrl�trnaspertetien-service <br />Such a customer may obtain interruptible transportation service <br />("TS") gas from the City subject to the following conditions: <br />-Phe•-atrstveet-e ee_ es-a-aerviee-agreement--Wit-Yrair3nit#a} <br />term-ef-rtat-}ess-tknn-enc-{}�-year- <br />(1) The Customer has first executed an interruptible <br />transportation service (TS) contract under which he may elect to <br />be a TS customer only or to be both a TS customer and an <br />interruptible sales service ("IS") customer. <br />• (i) Customer Receiving Only TS Gas Should the <br />customer elect to be a TS customer only, he will be agreeing that <br />he has no backup IS service and therefore shall be limited to use <br />TS rates for TS only customers plus any penalties incurred by the <br />City as a result of such unauthorized use. <br />under this last described dual service arrangement may not be <br />credited toward the IS annual minimum. <br />(2) The customer has purchased, or has agreed to <br />purchase from some seller other than the City, under a bona fide <br />contract an <br />adequate supply of natural gas of a quality acceptable to the City, <br />and has made, or has caused to be made, arrangements by which such <br />volumes of natural gas can be delivered, either directly or by <br />displacement, into the City's distribution system at the customer's <br />expense. <br />
