• the City described in City Code Section 31-151 (where off-street <br />parking is not required) This exclusion from gross site area <br />of the off-street parking requirements <br />(4) As used herein "tree canopy" or "tree cover" shall <br />development or the Planning Commission in the following <br />circumstances• <br />and other facilities and uses of a similar nature. <br />To allow for the preservation of wetlands. <br />• _ When strict application of the requirements would <br />result in unnecessary or unreasonable hardship to the <br />developer. <br />Development. <br />(7) To curtail the spread of disease or insect <br />infestation in a plant species, when more than five (5) trees are <br />required to be planted on a site. no more than fifty percent (50%) <br />of those trees shall be of one type. When more than twenty (20) <br />trees are required on a site. no more than twenty-five percent <br />(25%) of the required trees shall be of a single species. <br />(8) Existing trees infested with disease or insects or <br />structurally damaged to the extent that they pose a hazard to <br />persons or property. or to the health of other trees on site, shall <br />not be included to meet the tree cover requirements. <br />(cl Tree Preservation Credit. <br />• <br />
