• (2) The contractor, in all solicitations <br />for employees placed by or on behalf <br />will state that such contractor is an <br />employer. <br />• <br />L <br />or advertisements <br />of the contractor, <br />equal opportunity <br />(b) A contractor subject to this section shall include the <br />provisions set out in subsection (a) above in every subcontract or <br />purchase order of over ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), so that <br />the provisions will be binding upon each subcontractor or vendor. <br />Section 22-12. Discrimination by city prohibited. <br />In the solicitation or awarding of contracts, the city shall <br />not discriminate because of the race, religion, color, sex, sexual <br />orientation or national origin of the bidder. <br />2. The City Manager is hereby requested to initiate the <br />process which would make X3.2 of the City Personnel Regulations <br />consistent with the revised nondiscrimination policy expressed by <br />this amendment. <br />Approved by Council <br />July 18, 1994 <br />CqArk of City Council <br />
