ZONING <br />ARTICLE I. IN GENERAL <br />• Section 34-4. Definitions. <br />• <br />For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms or words <br />shall have the meanings ascribed to them by this section: <br />Home occupation: Any occupation or activity which is clearly <br />incidental and secondary to use of the premises for dwelling and <br />which is carried on wholly or in part within a main building or <br />accessory building or on the premises by a member of the family who <br />resides on the premises. <br />Residential district: Any R-1, R -1A, R-2, R-3, RHD, Planned <br />Unit Development (PUD), mobile Home Park (R -MHP), or Mobile Home <br />Subdivision (R -MHS) zoning district. <br />Sign, freestanding or ground: Any sign placed in or upon the <br />ground and not attached to any building. <br />Sign, ground: A sign of which the entire bottom is generally <br />in contact with or in close proximity (less than one foot) to the <br />ground or when set in a base similarly in contact with the ground. <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />
