adjacent to their property, provided the sign is removed during nonbusiness hours, and the person placing the sign first agrees to indemnify the City against any liability arising from the placement of such a sign. 0) Businesses fronting on each sidestreet leading from the Downtown Mall to either Water Street or Market Street may have signs which are part of a consolidated sign placed at the locations on the Mall designated by the City; provided that the sign may be removed by the business owner during nonbusiness hours, that the person placing the sign first agrees to indemnify the City against any liability arising from the placement, damage to or loss of such signs and that each individual business sign panel shall be 18 inches in width by 24 inches in length with a 3/4 inch black border and beige background color. No sign grouping shall have more than four (4) sign panels. Within the designated sign locations, referenced in subsection (i) above, businesses in the downtown area bounded by the properties on the north side of East High Street, 7th Street East, the CSX Tracks and Ridge -McIntire, may have signs which are part of the referenced consolidated signs placed at the designated locations on the downtown mall; provided that the signs may be removed by the business owner during nonbusiness hours, that the person placing the sign first agrees to indemnify the City against any liability arising from the placement, damage to or loss of such signs and that each individual business sign panel shall be 18 inches in width by 5 inches in height with a 3/4 inch black border, beige background color and lettering in the "CHARLOTTESVILLE" style of the city directional signs. Such signs shall be in .• groupings of no more than four (4) signs within the 18 inch wide by 24 inch long area allowed for mall side street signs in subsection (i) above.
