(b) No person shall ride or drive any motorcycle on any city street unless such motorcycle is equipped with all safetyequipment required by state law for a motorcycle and the motorcycle is licensed or registered by the Division of Motor Vehicles. (c) Any motorcycle operated in violation of this section may be impounded and disposed of in accordance with City Code 615-296 et seq. (a) No person shall ride a bicycle, an electric power -assisted bicycle or moped on any sidewalk or other • area designated exclusively for pedestrian traffic including, without limitation, the pedestrian mall area on Main Street between the Ninth Street bridge and Ridge -McIntire Road; provided however, that this prohibition shall not apply to on -duty police officers and other uniformed emergency services personnel using the pedestrian mall.
