SEWER USE STANDARDS <br />Sec. 31-186. Definitions. <br />Public sewer means eithef sanitary or motor n sewer in which all owners of abutting properties shall <br />have equal rights and which is controlled by public authority. <br />• Sewer means a pipe or conduit used to collect and carry away sewage aF sta„r ate runoff from <br />the generating source to sewage treatment plants. <br />Sewerage system tem means the system of public sewers and appurtenances for the collection, <br />transportation, pumping and treatment of sewage. <br />Sec. 31-191. Discharges to be through authorized connections. <br />No person shall discharge sewage or other waste material into the city sanitary or st a sewer <br />system except through a connection to such system authorized and paid for as provided in this <br />chapter.
