• A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE COMMITMENT OF FUNDS <br />APPROVED IN THE BUDGET FOR THE 1979-80 YEAR. <br />WHEREAS, the budget adopted for the Fiscal Year 79-80 and the <br />appropriations ordinance adopted concurrently therewith include funds for <br />the installation of a computer assisted appraisal system for the office of <br />the .City Assessor; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary, if such computer assisted system is to <br />be used in making the 1979 general reassessment, that work on its installation <br />begin immediately; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has received and recommended the <br />acceptance of a proposal from ECCO Consulting, Inc. in the amount of <br />$30,000 for the installation of such system; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville that the City Manager is hereby authorized to accept the <br />proposal of ECCO Consulting, Inc. to install such computer assisted appraisal <br />system for a price of $30,000; provided, that payment shall not be made for <br />• such work until after July 1, 1979, according to the schedule of payments set <br />forth in such proposal. <br />Adopted by the Council <br />May 21, 1979 <br />Copy Teste: <br />Clerk of the Council <br />
