C� <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />TO JEM LAND TRUST FOR A GROUP HOME <br />FOR UP TO TWENTY (20) RESIDENTS AT 1328 RIVERDALE DRIVE. <br />WHEREAS, Melvin N. Wilson, on behalf of the JEM <br />Land Trust, has requested a special use permit to use <br />the property at 1328 Riverdale Drive for a group home <br />for up to twenty (20) residents; <br />WHEREAS, following a joint public hearing before <br />this Council and the Planning Commission, duly <br />advertised and held on November 11, 1987, this Council <br />finds that such use will conform to the standards set <br />forth in Section 31-28.1 of the City Code and to the <br />criteria applicable to special permits generally under <br />Chapter 31 of the City Code; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that the special use permit is <br />hereby granted pursuant to Section 31-28 of the City <br />Code to allow JEM Land Trust to use the property at 1328 <br />Riverdale Drive for a group home for up to twenty (20) <br />• residents. This property is further identified on City <br />Real Property Tax Map #50 as Parcel 5, having approxi- <br />mately 170 feet of frontage on Riverdale Drive, 20 feet <br />of frontage on Ward Place, and containing approximately <br />27,966 square feet of land or .642 acres. <br />This special use permit is subject to those <br />conditions imposed by the Planning Commission at <br />the joint public hearing. <br />Approved by Council <br />December 21, 1987 <br />re�erlcof_ Council <br />• .M <br />
