• RESOLUTION <br />Authorization to Apply for <br />Fitness Equipment Grants <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia that the City Manager is authorized, for and on behalf of <br />the City of Charlottesville, to apply for grants for two fitness <br />equipment units from the National Fitness Campaign. Each grant <br />amounts to $15,200 with the City contributing $1,650 per unit, plus <br />shipping costs, which is estimated to be $1,926. The total cost to <br />the City, if awarded two grants, would be $5,226.00, and sufficient <br />funds are available in the Capital Fund to meet the grant <br />requirements. <br />• Approved by Council <br />January 27, 1992 <br />(.51 erk of Council <br />
