• tenants.
(b) No more than four (4) vehicle permits shall be issued to any Affected Household unless
the number of unrelated occupants of such Household may by proper application and interpretation
of the City's zoning ordinance exceed four (4) persons. In the latter instances, the maximum number
of permits allowed shall equal the the lesser of (i) the number of unrelated occupants per unit legally
allowed under the City's zoning ordinance or (ii) six (6) persons.
(c) In addition to the last described limits applicable to each Affected Household, the number
of vehicle permits issued per fraternity, sorority, rooming house, or other multifamily structure shall
not exceed the actual number of permanent residents living in each structure. A "permanent resident"
for purposes of these regulations is a person who resides at particular address on a regular basis.
8.4 Guest Permits
The limit on the maximum number of Guest Permits allowed shall be the lesser of (a) two
(2) Guest Permits per Affected Household or (b) ten (10) per multifamily, fraternity, sorority,
apartment house or similar structure.
8.5 Hours Permit Parking is In Effect
• If implemented, restricted Permit Parking in University Circle shall apply twenty-four (24)
hours a day, seven days a week.
8.6 Permit Issuance, Display, and Format
As indicated, Landlords of rental property, or their agents, shall be the exclusive applicants
to the City Treasurer for regular parking permits for vehicles of their tenants and for related guest
permits. At the time such Landlords purchase permits for their tenants, or as soon thereafter as is
practicable, and in no event later than the time when such permits are delivered to permit holders,
Landlords shall supply all of the information required of other applicants under the Citywide
Regulations, including the state and city license number of the vehicle for which a permit is issued.
Format and Display of Permits used by tenants shall be the same as those called for by the
Citywide Regulations, unless the City n___:..:___- of n__.__.._ Treasurer determines that a
different Format or Display is necessary to make permit parking workable in the permit parking
block or blocks.
In no event shall Owners, Landlords, or their agents directly or indirectly profit from sale or
delivery of parking permits to their tenants. This prohibition means, among other things, that the
permit costs passed on to tenants may not exceed permit fees set by the City for parking permits
elsewhere in the City.
-8-
