Ayes: Mr. Barnes, Mr. Buck, <br /> Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Hall, Mr. Towe. Noes: None. <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Correcti°ns has <br /> notified the City's Community Attention system of a Juvenile <br /> Jail Removal Initiative Grant award~ now, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br /> Charlottesville, Virginia, that $41,475 is hereby <br /> appropriated to Community Attention Fund expenditure account <br /> 19-12040 for the operation of a program of temporary care and <br /> community supervision of juvenile offenders bY the City's <br /> Community Attention syStem, effective July 1, 1988. Such <br /> appropriation shall be conditioned upon receipt by the City <br /> of $37,250 from the Department of Criminal Justice Services <br /> grant number #88-A6654J and $4,225 from a Department of <br /> Corrections Block Grant to be credited to the Community <br /> Attention Fund. <br /> APPROPRIATION: $300,000 - JOINT SECURITY COMPLEX LOAN (2nd reading) <br /> The $300,000 appropriation for the Joint Security Complex <br /> Loan which was offered at the June 6th meeting was approved by <br /> the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Barnes, Mr. Buck, Mrs. Gleason, <br /> Mr. Towe.
