The City Manager is authorized to enter into agreements with those agencies and organizations as he may deem advisable to ensure that the subgrants are expended for the intended purposes, and in accordance with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following sums are hereby appropriated from funds received from the aforesaid grant as a subgrant to the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority: 24-72400 City-Wide Homeowner Rehabilitation by the Charlottesville Housing Improvement Program (CHIP) 5,000 155,000 Revenues received by the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority from repayment of deferred loans made under these programs shall be returned by the Authority to the City for credit to the CDBG Fund. Such funds credited to the CDBG Fund shall be deemed automatically reappropriated to the Authority for the same purposes for which they were originally appropriated. The Director of Finance may establish such regulations and procedures as may be expedient to create these "revolving funds." The City Manager, the Directors of Finance and of planning and Community Development, and the staff of the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) are authorized and directed to establish appropriate expenditure sub-accounts in the Community Development Block Grant Fund to assist the City and CRHA in accounting for such programs, and to establish administrative procedures asnd provide for mutual assistance in the execution of the programs as approved by the Board of CRHA. APPROPRIATION: JOB TRAINING PARTNERSHIP ACT Mr. Hendrix stated that the appropriation would enable the City to administer the Job Training Partnership Act Program with the State and Federal funds received. On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Hall, the appropriation for the Job Training Partnership Act Program was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration.
