244 <br /> <br />Community Attention Advisory Board. <br />expire on January 3, 1989. <br /> <br />This term will <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Barnes, Mr. Douglas Gilpin was <br />unanimously reappointed as the Board of Architectural <br />Review representative on the Downtown Board of <br />Architectural Review for a four-year term. This term will <br />expire on February 28, 1990. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Gleason, Mr. Matthew Gaffney was <br />unanimously reappointed and Ms. Jane Shields was appointed <br />to three-year terms on the Thomas Jefferson Visitors <br />Bureau Board. These terms will expire on February 28, <br />1989. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: CDBG REPROGRAMMING (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> The Community Development Block Grant Reprogramming <br />Appropriation which was offered at the meeting of April <br />7th was approved by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. <br />Barnes, Mr. Buck, Mrs. Gleason, Dr. Gunter. Noes: None. <br />Absent: Dr. Hall. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has previously approved the <br />appropriation of certain amounts received by the City from <br />federal Community Development Block grants and Jobs Bill <br />grants to specific expenditure accounts and the respective <br />funds established to account for such grants; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it now appears that portions of the amounts <br />originally appropriated or re-appropriated in prior years <br />to certain of such expenditure accounts are not needed for <br />the purposes or activities for which they were originally <br />appropriated; and that such unneeded funds should be <br />re-appropriated for other purposes; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that: <br /> <br /> 1. The sum of $8,930.32 originally appropriated to <br />Jobs Bill fund expenditure accoun~ 27-42010 for <br />Public/Private Partnership Training through Piedmont <br />Virginia Community College, being no longer needed for <br />such purpose, shall be transferred to the Community <br />Development Block Grant fund in partial repayment of <br />monies previously transferred to the Jobs Bill fund from <br />the Community Development BLock Grant fund; and <br /> <br /> 2. That the appropriations for the following <br />individual expenditure accounts in the Community <br />Development Block Grant fund and the Jobs Bill Fund are <br />hereby reduced by the respective amounts shown below; and <br /> <br /> 3.
