r Re -)O -.t of The Committee appointed to study the need of additional relief within the Indigent Committee City of Charlottesville submitted a report. On motion by Dr. Haden, seconded by Mr. Gleason, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville Appropriation that $300.003, or as much thereof as may be necessary, be and the for relief to Indigents sane is hereby appropriated to purchase such supplies as are necessary for distribution to the indigents of the City. Gleason, Mr. Huff, Mr. Jessup, and Mr. Peyton. Minutes of the Meetings of December 5, and December 13, 1938, were read and approved. A petition of Mr. Robert 'K. Glover requesting that his lot fronting 621 on the east side of Route 29 and about 611 south of the right-of-way of the CFXO Railway Petition re= Company be zoned so that the whole of his lot would be in B-2 Business District. On change in Zoning Ord. motion this mz--tter was referred to the Zoning Commission for recommenc ation. The following report was unanimously adopted: December 19, 1938 To the Members of the City Council City of Charlottesville, Va. Gentlemen: We have applications for county water connections as follows: F. M. Thomas, E. Market- Street c=ounty Inasmuch as this is in the annexed territory, I recommend. that ~ft'c ter this application be granted. Applications I also have application for T. Mahone in Meado'wbrook Heights, and inasmuch as this is outside of the annexed territory, I do not believe it should be grunted until some definite policy is established for county connections in the area outside of that to be annexed on January 1st. On motion by Mr. Gleason, the folloiling resolution was unanimously adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville License Tax tiaat',30.50 be and the same is hereby appropriated for a license tax Refund refund to Irs.
