<br />The Council met in regular session on this date with the follov.,ing members
<br />present: Mr. Gleason, Dr. Haden, 11r. Huff., and 11r. Jessup.
<br />40 Minutes of the Meetings of July 3, July 6, and July 13, 1939, were read and
<br />approved.
<br />Fire Chief Page addressed the Council and requested that an additional approp-
<br />Additional riation of 5500.00 be made so as to enable the Fire Company to take the Municipal
<br />Appropriation
<br />Fire Company -Band with them to the Firements Convention at Cape Charles. On motion by Dr. Haden,
<br />Convention
<br />seconded by Mr. Gleason, the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
<br />BE IT RESVOLED by the Council of the City of Charlotte:_-ville that
<br />X500.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated to the Fire Company in
<br />accordance -,.ith the foregoing request.
<br />Belvue St. On motion a petition relative to Belvue Street was referred to the City Manager
<br />for investigation and res}ort.
