4 <br />AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THAT ALL STREET CARS BE EQUIPPED WITH PROPER BRAI'J:S - <br />(Adopted October 13,1904. ) <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL,That all care running over the street car lid; <br />upon Main Street shall,after thirty (30) days fror: the passage of this ordirance,be <br />.11 <br />supplied with brakes,or other apparatus sufficiently effective to stop the car upon <br />place along said line within a space of fifty (50) feet,no matter at what rate of sp, <br />the car be going. <br />PF:NTALTY.
