BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTFSVILIZ: That in the stead of the present Health Committee an Health Board be created to consist of four membere,viz; the City Physician,two practicing Physicians elected by the Council and one member of the Council appointed by the Mayor, The two physicians elected shall receive a salary of twent-;r-five dollars ($250 per annum and serve for a term of one and two years respectively. Upon entering duties they shall convene and elect a President ,who shall preside, call meetings eto' and have the power as set forth fpr the Chairman of the Health Committee in the Ord a. The duties shall be those as laid forth in Chapter =Xity Ordiances, and b. To inspect systematically all premises of the City once every month, c. Instructing the Healtlh Officer to make necessary changes etc. , for the benefit the health of the City. d. Each member is empowered to abate any nuisance that may come to hit notice fr°ol to times e. To report Health Officers for neglect of duty, incompetency,etc, when it deems f.
