Tre-sident o ommon otincll. _ YLayor. `/ AN ORDINAi10E PROVIDING FOR THE DISI]IMCTION OF ALL STRIJ1,T CARS OPERATED I11 TBE CITY: ( Adopted August 7th,1905 ) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COMICIL OF TIB; CITY OF CHARLOT'I' MVILLE, is-- That every person ,�firm or corporat ion operating street cars on lines wholly or partly in the City of Charlottesville, shall cause every car operated within the Citl,`'�f limits to be thoroughly disinfected with formaldehyde at least once a week u! til such person,firm or corporation is relieved of his duty by furt'ier action 41 of this Council, 2,-- Any person, f irm or corporation violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offence, and each week that such failure shall continue shall be regarded as d separate offence. 3--- This ordinance shall be in effect from its passage.
