A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING $49,560. THEREFOR: <br /> <br />Resolved, by the Board of Aldermen and Common Council, in joint session assembled, <br /> <br />That the sum of $500. be and is hereby appropriated to be placed in the hands of <br /> <br />the Mayor, who may use this sum in such manner and at such times as he may feel <br /> <br />justified, to protect the interest, and property of this City at this critical and <br /> <br />threatening war condition that now confronts us. <br /> <br />Adopted by the joint session April 6,1917: <br />Ayes; Timberlake and Walker of the Aldermen, and <br />Elliott, Forrest, Graves, Long, Souder, <br />Twyman, Wingfield of the Council.
