A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE C. & O. RY. CO. TO INSTALL CROSSING BELLS AND LIGHTS

<br />AT FIRST AND SECOND STREET CROSSINGS:
<br />RESOLVED,by the Common Council of Cb.arlottesville, the Board of Aldermen
<br />
<br />concurring, That the C. & 0. Railway Com!)any be requested to install combination
<br />
<br />crossing bells and liglits at First and Second Street crossings, and that the City
<br />
<br />Attorney be requested to draw up an agreement with the Railway Company providing
<br />
<br />for the supplanting of the bells and lights by gates in case the former equipment
<br />
<br />does not prove satisfactory to the Council.

<br />services rendered by said institution in treating and caring for diphtheria

<br />patients during the epidemic in the summer of 1916, be allowed.
