406 <br />AN OFDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 29 89 90 10 and 11 OF THS: BUILDING CODE. <br />Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Uharl of to svi 1 ! e that the follow. <br />ing sections of the City Building Cede, section 2 entitled "FIFE LIMITS," section g <br />entitled "INCOMBUSTIBLE WALLS, CORNICES, AND ROOFS :1.EQUIRED WITHIN LIMITS," section g <br />entitled, "PERMISSABLE WOODEN STRUCTURES WITHIN FIRE LIMITS," section 10 entitled <br />"REPAIRING F -'-'AME BUI GD ING NITHIN FIRE LIMITS," and section 11, entitled "WHAT BUILDINGS <br />REQUIRED TO BE FIRE PROOF." Be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows; <br />Sec. 2 FIRE LI!.IITS- CONGESTED FIRE LIMITS <br />The following shall be anoare hereby declared to be the fire limits; <br />A. CONGESTED FINE LI::"IT S. <br />Beginning at a point on N inth Street, N. E. 150 feet north of High High Street <br />thence by a line 150 feet north of the parellel to High Street, Westerly to a point <br />150 feet west of second street N. W. Thence in a southerly direction parallel to Second <br />Streot N. W. to a point 150 feet north of Main Street, thence in a westerly course 150 <br />feet north of and parallel to Main Street to the West Side of Fourteenth Street, thence south l <br />along the west side of Fourteenth S#reet to a point where the C & 0 .ailroad crosses <br />Main St., thence along the north side of said railroad in a westerly direction to where <br />Madison Lane, if extended would cross said railroad; thm ee along Madison Ione in a <br />southerly direction to Ivy Road, thence along Ivy Road in a easterly direction to the <br />C & 0 Railroad, t henc. along said railroad to midge Street 3 thence leav i nE- said railroad <br />along Garrett Street to Firth Street S. FIM LIMITS. <br />Beginning on the Ivy _.oad at the oestern end of the limits of the City of <br />Charlottesville, thence following the limits of the Uity of Charlottesville by a broken <br />line in a general northeasterly direction to the old Barrack ..,oad, also called Preston <br />Ave., thence in a southerly direction along the old Barrack Road or Preston Ave., to point <br />where Charlton Ave,, if extended would meet Pbe Old Barrack load, thence in a south- <br />easterly direction along Charlton Ave., to the new double track line of the southern <br />Eailroad, thence following the line along where Charlton Ave., would run if it were <br />extended, in a straight line to the old line of the southern :.ailroad.
