1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Any such dance hall shall not remain open later than twelve <br />o'clock each night during the week and remain closed until six <br />o'clock the following morning, without the written approval of <br />the Mayor, after the Chief of Police has recommended in writing, <br />that such approval be given. Each new consumer shall <br />pay a <br />connection charge of $100.00 in advance and shall execute such <br />water contract <br />as may be required by the City Manager. <br />' <br />All water accounts shzlll be due and payable monthly on or <br />before ten <br />days after the meter has been read. The City Collector shall <br />have the rig';t <br />to disconnect and cease furnishing water to any consumer who is <br />delinquent <br />in the payment of his or her account after the tenth day subsequent <br />to the <br />reading of the meter. <br />If any water meter shall fail to register the charge shall <br />be the avera£;e <br />reading for the three preceding months. <br />This section shall not apply to special contracts for the <br />consumption of <br />water which have been authorized by the Council. <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the date <br />of its passage, <br />and all Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed. <br />Adopted by the Council January 3, 1939. <br />Ayes: bar.
