<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section 489 (72)
<br />of the City Code of 1932 as heretofore amended be amended and reenacted as follows:
<br />SEC. 489 (72) Parking on the Streets of the City.
<br />All vehicles shall be parked in accordance :-rith signs, signals, and
<br />other devices for handling traffic, which may be provided by the Mayor and
<br />Chi:f of Police pursuant to Section 489 (69) of this Code, and any amendments
<br />thereto, provided however that between the hours 1:00 o'clock A. M. and 5:00
<br />A. M. no vehicle shall be parked on the folloiiing streets within the City:
<br />Main Street between Seventh Street, East and 1O1 Street, ';;est.
<br />Water Street between Fifth Street, East and Main Street at Vinegar Hill.
<br />Market Street between 7th â–ºstreet, East and High Street (Beck's Hill).

<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that a new section
<br />be added to the City Code of 1932 numbered Section 328(2) and entitled "Hydrophobia -
<br />Cats to be Confined1l, which shall read as follows:
<br />SEC. 328(a) Hydrophobia - Cats to be Confined.
<br />If at any time the Mayor has cause to apprehend the existence of rabies
<br />among the cats in the City, it shall be lawful for him to require by proclamation,
<br />published in a newspaper in the City, that all cats be confined to the premises
<br />of their owners for such time as may be prescribed.
<br />Any person permitting a cat to run at large during such period shall be fined
