The grant <br />period is July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2002. The Grant No. is 02-E9555JJ01. The award is <br />for personnel cost to support the Juvenile Court Assessment Center (20-162-062142). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved <br />funding for the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant (JAIBG) for the period <br />January 1, 2001 to December 3 I, 2001; Grant No. 01-C3236JB00. The unexpended <br />balance at June 30, 2001 of $14,873 is carried forward to fund expenditures for the year <br />ending June 30, 2002 to address the problem ofjuvenile crime by promoting greater <br />accountability in the juvenile justice system. A 10% cash match of $1,487 from local <br />general funds is required. (20-020-062152) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Office of Comprehensive Services provides <br />administrative funds for the City of Charlottesville and County of Albemarle to <br />coordinate and administer the Comprehensive Services Act by funding a CSA <br />Coordinator (20-020-042149). <br /> <br />Virginia Office of Comprehensive Services <br />City of Charlottesville <br />County of Albemarle <br />Total funding <br /> <br />$ 24,119 <br /> 12,330 <br /> 12,330 <br />$ 48,779 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved <br />funds to purchase furniture for the Juvenile Court Assessment Center Annex at the Blue <br />Ridge Detention Center (JAIBG Grant 1999) in the amount of $21,800 for the period <br />Augu~ 22, 2001 to September 30, 2001 (20-020-052152). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved <br />funds to develop an information sharing secured website for use by authorized agencies <br />to the Commission on Children and Families (JAIBG Grant t999) in the amount of <br />$35,000 for the period September 1,2001 to December 31,2001 (20-020-062152). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved <br />funds for a Detention Utilization Study to impact on the design and use of the Blue Ridge <br />Juvenile Detention Center (JAIBG Grant 02-B3708-JB99) in the amount of $15,000 for <br />the period May 10, 1001 to December 31, 2001 (20-020-062152). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved <br />funding for the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant (JAIBG) for the period <br />January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002; Grant No. 02-D3236JB01 to address the problem <br />of juvenile crime by promoting greater accountability in the juvenile justice system. <br />Total funding provided is $28,574. A t0% cash match of$3,175 from local general <br />funds is required for a total program expenditures of $31,749 (20-020-062152) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved <br />funding for the Young Juvenile Offenders Program for the period January I, 2002 to June <br />30, 2003; Grant No. 02-A3909JJ01 to address problems of youth under the age of 14. <br />Total funding provided is $135,710 (20-020-062152). <br /> <br /> <br />
