The grant period is July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2002. The Grant No. is 02-E9555JJ01. The award is for personnel cost to support the Juvenile Court Assessment Center (20-162-062142). WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved funding for the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant (JAIBG) for the period January 1, 2001 to December 3 I, 2001; Grant No. 01-C3236JB00. The unexpended balance at June 30, 2001 of $14,873 is carried forward to fund expenditures for the year ending June 30, 2002 to address the problem ofjuvenile crime by promoting greater accountability in the juvenile justice system. A 10% cash match of $1,487 from local general funds is required. (20-020-062152) WHEREAS, the Virginia Office of Comprehensive Services provides administrative funds for the City of Charlottesville and County of Albemarle to coordinate and administer the Comprehensive Services Act by funding a CSA Coordinator (20-020-042149). WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved funds to develop an information sharing secured website for use by authorized agencies to the Commission on Children and Families (JAIBG Grant t999) in the amount of $35,000 for the period September 1,2001 to December 31,2001 (20-020-062152). WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved funds for a Detention Utilization Study to impact on the design and use of the Blue Ridge Juvenile Detention Center (JAIBG Grant 02-B3708-JB99) in the amount of $15,000 for the period May 10, 1001 to December 31, 2001 (20-020-062152). WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved funding for the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant (JAIBG) for the period January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002; Grant No. 02-D3236JB01 to address the problem of juvenile crime by promoting greater accountability in the juvenile justice system. Total funding provided is $28,574. A t0% cash match of$3,175 from local general funds is required for a total program expenditures of $31,749 (20-020-062152) WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved funding for the Young Juvenile Offenders Program for the period January I, 2002 to June 30, 2003; Grant No. 02-A3909JJ01 to address problems of youth under the age of 14.
